Woodside Cattery

Woodside Cattery is a family-run cattery in Ayrshire, set in rural countryside just outside Symington.

Owned by the Stephen family since 2001,we can take care of your cat while you are away on holidays or single day trips.

We have runs of various sizes to accommodate single or groups of cats, all set in a quiet area and with a cats-exclusive policy.

The purpose built cabins are heated, suitable for use all year round and are maintained to the highest standard - so you can relax while away, knowing that your cat is safe and comfortable!

Drop off and collection times are:

Monday to Friday 9am-10am, 5pm-6pm

Saturday & Sunday 10am-11am

All other times by appointment only. A fee of £5 applies for missed collection times.

Please note: Minimum booking cost is for 2 days.

  • £14.00 per day per cat.
  • £21.00 per day for 2 cats sharing
  • £24.00 per day for 3 cats sharing
  • Larger Pens available for 4 cats from same household - POA
  • £1 extra for Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Day

RULES
  • Drop off and collection times are noted above

  • Any medication and instructions should be supplied in advance.
  • Woodside Cattery will seek veterinary attention if required.
  • Vaccination Certificate Required, must be shown on arrival.
  • Feeding is carried out twice per day - Foods stocked include Whiskas, Felix, As Good as It Looks, Sheba, GoCat, Royal Canin, James Wellbeloved. Prescription Diets are supplied by customer.
  • Every possible care and attention will be applied, but bookings are accepted on the basis of no additional responsibility for the cat other than the above.

Woodside Cattery is located on the north side of Symington and is easily reached by car. Use the Google Maps Link below for Directions from your location.

From Kilmarnock / Glasgow:
Heading South on the A77, take the exit to the right for the B730 (signposted Dundonald) just after Kilmarnock.
Turn Left at the end of the next road, and Westmuir Cottage (with a sign outside for Woodside Cattery) is at the brow of the hill, on the left side.

From Ayr:
Heading North on the A77, proceed past both turn-offs for Symington and exit left on to the B730 (signposted Dundonald) just after Kilmarnock.
Turn Left at the end of the next road, and Westmuir Cottage (with a sign outside for Woodside Cattery) is at the brow of the hill, on the left side.
